Question: What is listed on Shred Mall?
Answer: If it’s remotely related to the shredding industry, it can be listed on Shred Mall. Uniforms, trucks, leasing companies, new and used equipment, fleet services, temporary services, books on security, background investigators, financing companies, shredding businesses for sale, brokers, real estate etc.
Question: Can I make purchases on Shred Mall?
Answer: No. You can only use Shred Mall to request information. It’s called an information mall. If you see a product or service you are interested in, click on it, and add it to your Info Cart. When you check out, your query is automatically transmitted to the manufacturer, distributor or service provider.
Question: How does Shred Mall make money?
Answer: Answer: Advertising fees, listing fees, and marketing services for various clients on Shred Mall fund Shred Mall.
Question: Do I pay any fees to use or visit Shred Mall?
Answer: None.
Question: How do I list a product or service on Shred Mall?
Answer: Click on the "GET LISTED" button (top right corner of your window), and complete the form. A Shred Mall administrator will review your material to make sure it complies with our policies. The Administrator will also contact you to discuss any fees associated with your listing. Thereafter, if everyone is in agreement, your listing will be posted.
Question: Do you approve the ads on Shred Mall?
Answer: Yes. Additionally, everyone must agree to our terms of use.
Question: Can I purchase ad space on Shred Mall?
Answer: Yes. In addition to simply listing your products or services on Shred Mall, there are four ways to advertise. You can purchase Banner Ads, as well as Featured Company spots, the latter appearing as visitors navigate the site. We also offer Block-ad space. Your banner ads and block-ads appear on every page. Finally, you can purchase TOP TIER positions in the listings. Ad space is sold on a first come basis, with a three-month minimum commitment. Advertisers are responsible for all production costs.
Question: How do I advertise?
Answer: Shred Nations members simply register and then write and download their copy and graphics online. A Shred Mall administrator will assist with all other ads. For help or additional information, call 1-800-894-2528. ext 151
Question: How do we pay for our ads?
Answer: Advertising is paid as you go, one month in advance. Payments are made through PayPal’s secure online subscription administration, by credit card or by check.
Question: What’s the admission price to Shred Mall?
Answer: Admission is free.
Question: How many information requests can I make?
Answer: There are no limits. The more requests the better.
Question: What if I don’t see what I’m looking for on Shred Mall?
Answer: If you don't see a category that you're looking for, let us know and we'll add it. If you can't find an exact item or service, make an inquiry and we'll do our best to help you locate the product or service you're seeking.
Question: Who handles the transaction between buyers and sellers?
Answer: The buyer and seller deal directly. Shred Mall isn’t in that loop.
Question: What are your advertising rates?
Answer: For our rate sheet, email john@dataguardusa.com, and include SHREDMALL AD RATES in the subject header. We’ll send a list of available spaces (banners, blocks and featured products), availability and rates.
Question: I noticed that some listings have a "MAKE OFFER" option. What is that all about?
Answer: We provided that option primarily for folks who have used equipment to sell.
